On the nationwide level, the foundation creates interest on the reduction of resource use e.g. with a competition for companies, the R.I.O award.

Scientific studies, consultation papers and relevant meetings and conferences demonstrate politicians, ministries and lobbying groups the chances of dematerialization for Germany.
