Goal

The present global level of consumption is not sustainable. The carrying capacity of the earth is exceeded. The earth is exhausted. Drinking water, fossil fuels, woods, biodiversity. The balance between mankind and nature is no longer kept.

Kathy Beys-Baldin was concerned about the future and wanted to sustain the living conditions for mankind, fauna and flora. Those were her reasons for setting up the Aachen Foundation.

Today the foundation is looking for new ways toward an efficient, frugal and sustainable use of resources which is the necessary condition of each longterm strategy.

The Aachen Foundation uses various tools and different partners to reach a wide spread audience on the local, regional and national level.
